The SPED72HC-12M-6 Elite Series™ Mega Top Refrigerated Counter from Beverage Air is a large unit that provides users with an ideal station to do prep work. This prep table features six refrigerated drawer sections and a refrigerated bunker that holds a dozen ⅙-size pans for regularly used ingredients. Full-size pans up to 6″ in depth fit inside the drawers making them ideal for storing items that are needed in larger quantities.
Prepped ingredients are kept nice and fresh at a temperature between 41°F and 33°F inside the easy to access cold bunker protected by a stainless steel lid and hood assembly. The full-width cutting board gives users plenty of elbow room when working on sandwiches or salads. The cutting board is securely mounted but can be removed easily for sanitation. Since the chilled pan storage does not run the whole width of the worktop, there is additional space for sauces and ingredients that don’t need to be refrigerated.
The fast access drawers feature slides with a locking mechanism that keeps them from being accidentally pulled out of the cabinet. Stainless steel frames support the telescoping drawer slides allowing the drawers to open with minimal force. The temperature inside the drawers is constantly maintained between 36º and 38ºF.
A ⅓ HP compressor at the bottom of the unit provides 1549 BTU/hr of cooling capacity. Environmentally-friendly R290 refrigerant is used to provide efficient and safe refrigeration. This hydrocarbon refrigerant meets all environmental regulations. A non-electric automatic defrosting cycle eliminates downtime and labor costs.
This unit is configured to use standard 115v/60/1-ph power and comes with an eight-foot power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug set.
