The T&S Brass B-2857 Lavatory Faucet is specialized for high-hygiene workstations requiring splash control and extended horizontal reach. Built on 8″ concealed widespread centers, it features a versatile 9″ swivel swing nozzle equipped with a 2.2 GPM laminar flow device. This non-aerated stream promotes superior infection control by preventing aerosolization and eliminating splashing in wide scullery basins. It includes ergonomic 4″ Wrist-Action handles for ADA-compliant, touchless-style modulation. Constructed from heavy-duty polished chrome brass.
Technician’s Note: Laminar flow devices are preferred in clinical settings as they do not draw in contaminated room air. The 9″ swing nozzle provides extensive coverage for 2 or 3-compartment basins. During installation, ensures the concealed manifold is anchored firmly beneath the deck to prevents handle rotation. Polished chrome finish is resistant to aggressive hospital cleaners and high-cycle industrial usage. Always flush building supply lines through the body before assembly.
