Description
The Lancer Diffuser for DSU is the internal fluid-shaping component responsible for managing the velocity of the beverage stream as it exits the valve. Its specialized geometry breaks up turbulence, ensuring maximum CO2 retention and a smooth, directed pour into the customer’s cup.
Problem Solved: Eliminates excessive splashing and reduces ‘foaming’ at the nozzle, ensuring maximum carbonation in the drink. Replaces sugar-clogged or pitted diffusers that ruin the beverage profile.
Symptoms of Failure: Turbulent pours, consistent splashing outside the cup, or excessive carbonation loss (‘flat’ drinks) indicating the laminar flow has been broken by mineral deposits or residue.
Technician’s Note: Soak diffusers weekly in warm water. Dried syrup residue inside the internal diffuser channels is the #1 cause of foamy, splattering pours. Never use a metal pin to clear the ports as a single scratch will create permanent foaming.Technical Specifications:
