Description
This professional-grade 0.75″ (3/4 inch) Tri-Clamp (Tri-Clover compatible) diaphragm valve is engineered for high-purity fluid control in pharmaceutical, biotech, and food & beverage processing. Featuring a weir-style body design, this valve ensures full drainability and zero-dead-leg performance when installed at the proper pitch. The manual actuator provides precise flow regulation, while the sanitary diaphragm isolates all mechanical moving parts from the process media, preventing batch contamination and ensuring a sterile flow path.
- Size: 0.75″ (3/4 inch) Tri-Clamp / Tri-Clover Compatible
- Body Material: Forged 316L Stainless Steel (ASTM A182)
- Diaphragm Options: High-purity EPDM or PTFE/EPDM backed (USP Class VI compliant)
- Actuator: Manual Handwheel (High-impact PPS or Stainless Steel)
- Surface Finish: 20Ra (SF1) internal polish for superior cleanability
- Ratings: Rated for up to 150 PSI (10 bar) and temperatures up to 300°F (149°C)
- Compliance: FDA, USP Class VI, and 3-A Sanitary Standards
Technician’s Note: When installing in a CIP (Clean-In-Place) system, ensure the valve is mounted at the recommended drain angle (typically 20° to 30°) to achieve full gravity drainage. This 0.75″ model is ideal for sampling ports or low-flow bypass loops. Periodically inspect the diaphragm for “cold flow” or permanent deformation; if the valve requires excessive force to shut off, the diaphragm is likely reaching the end of its service life and should be replaced to prevent internal bypass.
