Technician’s Note: The FR-14-E is a “wear item” that should be inspected whenever you perform a manifold teardown. If you notice “syrup weeping” from the back of the manifold or if the tube retainer feels loose, these O-rings have likely flattened or taken a “set.” When installing, always apply a thin coating of food-grade silicone lubricant (like Petrogel or Haynes Lubri-Film) to the O-ring.
